Rachel Van Hollebeke

Rachel Van Hollebek is a family medicine physcian who graduated from the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. She is based in San Diego, California, and plays defense.

She played college soccer at Stanford and then played professionally in the WPS and NWSL. Additionally, she played on the US Women’s National Team from 2008-2015. During her tenure on the national team, she was a two time Olympic gold medalist (2008 and 2012) and Word Cup silver medalist (2011).

Off the field, she loves to spend time with her family and friends. Her other hobbies include flower arrangement, finding and wearing fun socks, and singing in the car. She joined the US Women’s Medical Soccer Team because she has such joy for the game. After not playing for many years, playing again on the medical team has made her feel like a little kid again.
