Julie Reznicek

Julie Reznicek is an Infectious Diseases physician who graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. A defender by nature, Julie brings experience and passion to the back line.

She began playing soccer at age seven and continued through high school, later competing in club soccer during college and beyond. Soccer has always been part of her identity, even during seasons when life pulled her in different directions.

Outside of medicine and soccer, Julie has a favorite story she loves to share. She met her husband while working as a waitress, when he left his phone number for her on a napkin.

That familiar itch to play soccer never went away, and joining the US Women’s Medical Soccer Team felt like the perfect opportunity to answer it. She is proud to show her kids that dreams do not expire and that it is always worth making space for the things you love.
