Ramla Kasozi

Ramla N. Kasozi, M.B.Ch.B, M.P.H., FAAFP graduated from Makerere University in January 2009 and is a Family Medicine physician with Mayo Clinic Florida. She plays goalkeeper and has been involved in soccer since the age of 14, continuing today in a women’s soccer league.

Ramla brings a global perspective to everything she does. She has earned three university degrees from three different countries, reflecting her curiosity and commitment to growth.

Soccer has remained a consistent source of joy for her through every season of life. Sharing the game with her two daughters has made it even more meaningful.

Joining the US Women’s Medical Soccer Team felt like the natural next step, bringing together her love for medicine, the game, and community. She is grateful for the people she has met through the team and plans to keep playing for as long as her knees allow.
