Ashley Egan

Ashley Egan is a General Surgery and Trauma physician who graduated from UT Southwestern Medical School in 2010. She is based in Rockwall, Texas, is self-employed, and serves as the team’s goalkeeper.

Ashley played collegiate soccer at the University of Georgia from 2001 to 2005 and was part of the US National Team pool in 2003. Her competitive spirit has always been part of who she is, both on and off the field.

Away from soccer and surgery, Ashley brings plenty of personality to everyday life. She wears cowgirl boots with her scrubs every day and is the proud mom of four amazing kids.

She joined the US Women’s Medical Soccer Team to meet like-minded women who love to compete, travel, and support one another. Ashley feels incredibly grateful to be part of a strong, empowering group of women who challenge each other and show up fully, both as athletes and professionals.
