Deidre Bass
Deidre Bass is a pediatrician who graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2005 and currently practices in Santa Rosa, California with Kaiser Permanente. A defender through and through, Deidre brings experience, toughness, and composure to the back line.
She played college soccer at the University of Miami and continued competing after graduation in the WPSL with the Miami Kickers. Her love for sport runs deep. She wanted to play football as a kid, but her mom signed her up for soccer at age four.
Off the field, Deidre is an avid gardener and has over 100 dahlia plants. She joined the US Women’s Medical Soccer Team because she wanted to keep playing at a high level, travel, and compete alongside like-minded people. Most importantly, she wants her girls to see that it is possible to be a dedicated professional, a strong athlete, and still have fun doing it all.
